RANDY JACKSON LEAVES "AMERICAN IDOL"--FINALLY!

(UPDATE JUNE 4, 2013)

LOS ANGELES (TheWrap.com) - "American Idol" is firing longtime executive producers Nigel Lythgoe and Ken Warwick in a continuing bid to win back viewers and shake up the show, an insider with knowledge of the show told TheWrap.
Fox declined to comment on this report.

Their terminations from the show arrive amid flux for the talent competition after alternative programming chief Mike Darnell's sudden Memorial Day weekend exit.

The new judging panel was aimed at assembling three former "Idol" contenders, including Jennifer Hudson and Kelly Clarkson, but that plan appears to be in a holding pattern since Darnell's departure and a lack of someone at the top to make the final decisions, a senior executive with knowledge of the production told TheWrap...

 The Dawg(barf) Days Are Over:

 Randy Jackson Leaving ‘American Idol’

Randy has confirmed to E! News that he will be leaving "Idol" after Season 12.

We did hear that:

"Randy's announcement comes the day after The Wrap reported that Fox supposedly intends to fire all of the current judges (and maybe even longtime producer Nigel Lythgoe) next season--so it's possible that this is a case of Randy jumping before he is pushed. This news also comes right after Yahoo!'s Reality Rocks reported that Randy is no longer managing the career of fellow judge Mariah Carey..."

My sole reason for watching "AI" is Candice Glover--she's an amazing talent worthy of taking-if not the title-then the world of music by storm! Watch out for her! I have already downloaded many of her performed songs from this season's show.
