Ann Rutherford, born Therese Ann Rutherford, (November 2, 1917 – June 11, 2012) was Canadian-American. She died of heart complications.
Ann Rutherford's most famous role was playing Scarlett O'Hara's younger sister in "Gone With The Wind" and the "Hardy Boys" series.
R I P
When each of my nieces turned their landmark 15 yrs. old I commissioned the great NY photographer, Roland Bello, to capture this auspicious age. We both chose legendary photographer George Hurrell as our inspiration. Hurrell was the king of shadow & shading black & white glamour shots for all the studios' golden era. He would generally tell his subjects to come scrubbed faced and without make-up; in the lab he created magic!
For my older niece we chose a shot reminiscent of Hayworth and for my younger niece we chose Rutherford, Ann Shreridan & Veronica Lake.
