SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE (SNL) -WHO LEAVES-WHO STAYS...

On May 20th I announced Kristen Wiig was NOT returning to SNL--now we learn ANDY SAMBERG

"Samberg has just completed his seventh season on the show, and recently marked the milestone of his 100th Digital Short, the often-viral video franchise that he produces with his Lonely Island collaborators Jorma Taccone and Akiva Schaffer. Their first big hit, "Lazy Sunday," lead to other memorable rap and slow-jam sensations like "I'm on a Boat" and the Emmy Award-winning "Dick in a Box"..."

He has signed on to star in a new BBC sitcom called "Cuckoo."
Samberg plays the titular character, a "self-appointed spiritual ninja" who marries into a British
The six-part series is expected to begin production this summer to air on BBC Three later this year.

UPDATE(09-13-2012): Saturday Night Live fans will be thrilled to hear that Jason Sudeikis will be back when the show returns this Saturday.
